Student doing Brain MassageThis all ages SEL strategy helps us focus and relax.  This activity is a positive way to manage our emotions, and is also an easy thing to do if we are at home and need a break.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.  Open your eyes and tap your fingertips on your forehead (pause for 5 seconds), tap your fingers on your cheeks (pause for 5 seconds) and on your chin (pause for 5 seconds).

Let’s give ourselves a calming head massage  Place two fingers on the side of your head.  Move your fingers in circles for the count of 10 deep, relaxing breaths.
