Who: 6th Grade & Up
Why: It can be difficult to know what to do when witnessing bullying. This PSA video and worksheet invites collaboration between peers as they work to solve a very real issue. It takes self awareness and social awareness to recognize when someone is being treated unfairly.
This activity affirms human dignity and encourages a process of reflection that centers safety and acceptance of all.
Tip: Adapt this activity for a family viewing and group discussion. Create family norms and expectations for being upstanders, not bystanders.
